[SOLVED] Using two different GPUs

I have used a GTX 970 for a few years and a couple months ago I retired it for a 1080. I just got a new AMD Ryzen 7 2700, 32GB of DDR4 Ram as well as a Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 5 WIFI motherboard. I've set up everything to the best of my abilities and I also installed my old 970 just to see what would happen. I have my primary monitor running from my 1080 and my secondary monitor running from my 970 so I know it works, In device manager my 970 has a little "!" on it and in my NVIDIA control panel, it isn't recognized. I want to run all of my non-games through my 970 and reserve the 1080 just for gaming. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I suspect that when you pick the driver, you pick your highest card. Make sure you select the driver that support BOTH graphic cards.
On a sad note, there is no version 400+ Nvidia driver for GTX 560. The minimum requirement for BF5 is 400+ which I have with GTX 1080. Might need to get a new card to support my 3rd monitor.

First of all I don't really a have solution to your problem but I would recommend only running a single Card since the performance increase would likely be negligible.

As far as I'm aware there is no significant performance toll to your running more than one Monitor off a single Graphics Card, and selling the card would likely be your best bet.

However you could use it to accelerate PhysX Enabled Games https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9nZWEekm9c

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, best of luck!

I was looking at dedicating to to PhysX however I the card doesn't appear in the NVIDIA Control panel.

I'm willing to put in the time if it will help my computer even the slightest little bit because at the moment all that that card is doing is running my second monitor. Also, I did a benchmark WITHOUT the 970 in and these were the results,
