I have a PC that powers off randomly and the fans go on high and it turns off. I have replaced just the power supply and it didn't help. I replaced the motherboard twice and it wouldn't boot. I took out the graphics card and still nothing. When I put old parts in it boots.

Do you think that the old motherboard would allow a failing CPU to boot and a new motherboard would not?

It is the weirdest thing It turns off and fans go on high. New PSU still did it and new motherboards wouldnt post. Checked ram too. Might just buy a new mb, cpu and ram.
