ASUS Pime X370-Pro BIOS-Update

Solution
Can't open that link but.....
BIOS file has to be in this format "PRIME-X370-PRO-ASUS-0614.cap", last number corresponding to BIOS version, or in this format "X370pro.cap" which you get by using "BRenamerl.exe".
Before starting flash procedure you should reset BIOS to factory defaults and have USB stick formatted to Fat32 and inserted to USB2 port.
Hi

Is your PC still working?

Bios file must be exact one for the motherboard model & revision or it is possible to brick system (unless you have dual bios chips)

safest way of downloading & upgrading bios file from a Windows or Linux PC is to download the correct file from the Asus website to your hard disk

then put uefi/bios file onto a USB memory stick which is formatted as FAT32.

give the file name the name recomended by ASUS bios help file (possibly primex370-pro.bin)

put usb memory stick into recommened usb port (2.0 or 3.0?)

re-start PC

bios file is likely to be recognised and update process happen automatically

when PC reboots after update remove usb or process will repeate

if bios file does not have correct name you will have to enter bios /uefi and start update / flash process

(rarely there is a bios write protect jumper/switch on motherboard or in bios settings which has to be changed before bios flash is allowed)
