Hello I am looking to buy some ram for my M4A87TD/USB3 motherboard,but i ran into a problem.
I want to buy 8 gb of memory ( 2 X 4GB 1600MHz ),but the QVL is outdated because its quite an old board so If I do buy ram I can't be guranteed that it will work properly in the mobo.I have found similar ram to the ones in the QVL :
DDR3 Corsair XMS3 4GB 1600MHz CL11 1.5V (CMX4GX3M1A1600C11) I would buy 2 of those
Or
DDR3 Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz CL9 1.65V (CMX8GX3M2A1600C9)
Will they work in the mobo or maybe you have a better suggestion of what ram should I buy?
