I think I damaged my Geforce GTX 1080

I think I damaged my Geforce GTX 1080 when trying to see if a GTX 1080 TI water block would somehow work. (no way it will work) In the process the small wrench I was using brushed two surrounding nodes or something. You can see in the picture.
I snapped in a pare of old Radeons and the computer works so I know its the card.

Yes, its possible you damaged something while trying to fit the WB. If the resistors are damaged they would need to be replaced in order for the card to function again. Return to manufacturer thru RMA

Even though it is only a year old I do not believe it’s still under warranty. Would the manufacturer still repair it? What is RMA?
