Hello guys!

First of all sry for my english.

I built a new pc and it went okey. First day the cpu temp was between 32-41 degrees (aida64) with 250rpm (Noctua NH-U12S). under far cry 5 was 55-60 with 1200rpm.

Next day i needed to enable amd-v for vmware so i set the amd v enabled. i also seen that the ram uses only 2133mhz instead of 3200MHZ. so i set the xmp profile 2 enabled.
after reboot i realized that the pc is a litle bit more loud so i checked he aida64 and saw that the cpu has 35-47 degrees with 1000rpm. Tunder far cry didnt changed much. 58-63 degrees with 1200rpm.

For test i disabled amd-v and xmp profile, but the temp didnt changed. didnt get back my low temp and 250rpm:(

What could happen? when i enabled amd-v and xmp then it also enabled another settings too? how could i reset the motherboard settings to default?

B450 tomahawk.

thank you very much for help guys!

Solution
When you enable XMP/DOCP it also accelerates IMC (Internal Memory Controller) in the CPU so it produces more heat but your temps are just fine, no worries.

1x back panel
2x front panel.

all three is a Coolink SWiF2 1201 120mm

i arrived at home, so i did a bios reset. nothing changed. so u guess i just fked up when i applied the cpu thermal paste.

"How many case fans are there currently? And you really should have XMP enabled for the fastest available. "

Ye i know. the problem is that the noctua fan is a little bit anoying.
