CSGO CPU Usgae

I recently left town for a few days and when I got back I loaded up csgo to play ESEA and was only recieving 120ish fps. This has never been a problem (never as in recent times since I just upgraded my cpu (will include parts below)) and is only an issue on csgo, other games see no significant change. I had MSI afterburner downloaded and opened csgo to record my CPU usage on all 6 cores and csgo was strictly using the first and second (as in core 2 and 3) almost at max usage whereas all other cores were being used at 3-5%. I tried the same test in Fortnite and ALL cores were being used at a sizeable load, the only thing that was hindering me was the GPU but thats typical for a game as such (still around 300ish fps). I tried troubleshooting for a while and to no avial didnt find any changes in core usage by changing some launch options and priorities while also ensuring it wasnt a ram issue. I even went as far as to redownload csgo and reset my overclock on my mobo with no change being noted. Like I said above csgo ran around 300-400 fps on high settings prior to leaving and the moment I get back it had just decresed for no significant reason. Further along in my trouble shooting however I did attempt to set specific affinities for csgo to utilize certain cores. I came to notice that if i selected cores 4,5, and 6, csgo would now use ALL 3 selected cores instead of just 2 and this granted me around 200 fps (playable but a not ideal especially when I was getting double that). But previosuly it had used all and at least prioritized 4 cores that would take a chunk of the load. When I attempted to select more cores such as also using core 3 it would only use core 4 and 5, and when I attempted to select 1,2 and 3, it would only use 1 and 2 at max load. A couple of friends and myself have no idea what could cause such and issue and if there is a fix since I havent seen anything about it anywhere. Hopefully someone here will read this and help.

I already attempted a driver update and just recently update my bios however I will give that a shot as well and let you know. Previously I had tested csgo and it had been utilizing at least 4 cores at 50-70% and the other 2 in the 30s but now it STRICTLY uses 2 unless I change it in the affinities but then it wont utilize core 0 and its not stable whereas before it was.
