[SOLVED] When i set gpu fan speed on auto, it spins at 34%

Hey, recently i bought gigabyte g1 gtx 970 (windforce 3x), on recent card i had, when i set gpu fan speed on auto in MSI Afterburner it was set on 0%, now when i set it on auto it spins on 34%.
Any solution?

I guess that 0db thing is all about the driver.. GPU itself can't do that unless there's program telling it to do so.. Anyway non of those G1 gaming cards are capable of disabling fans not even at idle.

Just try to stress the cards and see whether it take those speeds above 30%. If there's no load then there's no reason for those fans to run at their full speeds right?

different card will react differently with the program (MSI AB). i remember that with might Asus GTX460 and Leadtek GTX660. have to play around with MSI AB itself to sort out the issue. also you need to make sure if your GPU have the so called "0db" feature which will completely shut the fan when idle or low temperature (usually below 50c or 60c) when gaming.
