Okay guys, I have purchased all my parts and I am roughly 3/4 the way through my build but I have hit a wall.

I have THESE power connectors on my NZXT Kraken X72 AIO liquid cooler (and throughout my case actually - a Corsair Graphite 760T Full ATX Tower case):

That don’t match THESE on the power supply unit (an EVGA SuperNova 750 G2):

Why is this? No matching connectors or cables came with the power supply, case, or motherboard.

This part is what’s frustrating. I am very close to completion of the build and find that I need something to complete it that didn’t come with any of the original parts (despite PC Part Picker saying everything was 100% compatible with no issue).

I guess they don’t take things like this into account huh?

Please note that my final build parts are:

AMD Ryzen 7 2700x CPU
ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming AMD AM4 ATX Motherboard
G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz
ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 O8G Dual-fan OC Edition GDDR6 Video Card
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, 80+ GOLD 750W Power Supply
NZXT Kraken X72 360mm - AIO RGB CPU Liquid Cooler
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E500B/AM)
Samsung 860 EVO V-NAND 1TB SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM) SATA 6Gb/s
LG Electronics 16X Internal Blu-ray Burner - WH16NS40K
ASUS Xonar DGX Sound Card
TP-Link Archer T6E AC1300 WiFi Card
Corsair Graphite 760T ATX Full Tower Case

The USB will connect to an available USB header on your motherboard. That will power your pump on your X72.

You also need to power your fans on your X72. That is what those 3 4-pin connectors (TX4 connectors) are for. Plug your fans into that, and then plug the other end into your motherboard to get power for your fans. Then you should be able to control your fans with software in your operating system.
The first image is a TX4 pwm fan power connector.

The second image is an IDE Molex style AMP mate-n-lock connector. Should not be necessary for X72.

The connectors in the first picture should be for your 3 fans that will go with the radiator. That will then connect to your motherboard.

The X72 should have a USB connector that you would connect to, for power to the pump.

Hi Groveling,

Thank you! But, the official NZXT YouTube install video says to install that USB connector from the CPU unit to the motherboard.

Three of these plugs in the first photo are what’s left after following that.If the install video is wrong, or I am interpreting it incorrectly, what is the correct way to do it?
