Logitech z906 subwoofer test mixes with satellite speakers

Hi,

I am testing my Logitech z906 via Sonic Studio. It seems like whenever i test every speakers, the subwoofer is always active and making bass on each satellite speakers. Is my subwoofer broken?

Even the solid, quality-built satellite speakers themselves will inherently produce a certain level of bass, just not as deep or powerful as the subwoofer unit is capable of producing. For the money that speaker system cost, surely you don't want the satellite speakers to sound "tinny" with too much treble and no bass?

I was comparing it with my old Genuis 5.1 speakers. when I test each speakers using Asus SonicStudio, on my old Genuis I hear purely the speaker only an no mix of bass sounds. But in z906 the subwoofer is active to every satellite speakers i test, bass comes along as if the satellites have their own tiny bass drivers.
