I recently moved my entire pre-built hp omen 880 desktop into a new case to help with thermals. However, now my cpu fan doesn't ramp up as hard as it did so instead of a max of like 2000 its maxing at 1300-1400.
I would edit it via BIOS but HP doesn't allow the user to adjust the cpu fan curve and speedfan does not work from when I tried it.
Please help me if you might know the issue.
(A recent issue I had was the cpu fan and all PWM fans would kick up to 100% but I fixed that by plugging in 2 HDD temperature sensors from the old case. I'm thinking that those thermistors are affecting the CPU fan speed but if I remove them the fans go jet mode)
