This is my first time building

I finished the build today after I followed all the steps here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGTqOqznXKw&t=710s with all of the same parts except I have a wd blue 1tb m.2 ssd instead of the recommended one in the video

After I finished I installed windows and everything was going fine until I tried to install the drivers for the motherboard and the cpu(AMD Radeon RX 560). I also tried to change the RAM in the bios to run at its recommended 3000 Mhz. After this, my pc stopped powering my keyboard, mouse, and sending a signal to my monitor.

I turned off my pc, then reset my power supply, and everything began to work again EXCEPT my cpu is now running at a flat 95 degrees.

I tried to ignore it and my pc ended up crashing after running for maybe 3 minutes.

I have no clue where I've gone wrong or how to get my cpu to run cooler and I'm concerned for my bank account.

Thanks

Double check the installation of the CPU cooler. Make sure it is completely seated and flat ALL the way around. If it is, or seems to be, then I'd HIGHLY suggest that you read the bench testing guide at the following link and apply the recommendations there to your own system.

Pay particular attention to the CPU cooler heatsink, fan and the potential for having a standoff in the wrong place under the motherboard between the case and board or one side/corner of the CPU cooler not being seated. It's also possible that the backplate and socket hardware are not installed correctly.
