Hi
Can i use thermal paste on my fx6300?
And which thermal paste exactly?
And is 78°C is dangerous? (before using thermal paste)when a game is running(R6 siege)
And how much fan rpm needed for my cpu?
I think my current fan is about 2000-3000(was amd's in case fan)
Please if anyone just know one of this questions just answer.TNX

Solution
78C isn't "dangerous" but higher than recommended for the FX 6300. You can use just about any TIM that you find available. They are all good. I use MX-4 myself.
But I suspect there may be something else causing high temps. Is the case clean? Good air flow? Dirty intake/exhaust fans/grills? Cooler work loose?
How long has the old TIM been installed?

Hi clutchc
Im purchased the cpu four years ago but didnt use it
I have no cooler on my case just a 1800 8*8 fan pulling out air
And a amd in case fan on my cpu as i told before
And yes
The heat sync is clear
The case is clear too
But i downloaded the core tepm app tonight and i saw when im playing r6 all of my cores are about 78°C
And i got a little bit worry cause the country im living another cpu would be so much expensive so much...
And i came here to ask which thermal paste should is use cause 78° is...
You know a little bit high for 6 hours per day.

I presume the CPU cores were (on average) running at 100% usage when the temps was that high? If you live in a very warm environment, you may want to consider an after-market cooler if replacing the TIM doesn't work.

But one more question...
Is the AMD cooler you are using the one that came with the FX-6300? Because the FX-6300 is a 95W CPU. If you are using a Cooler from a different CPU, it may only be a 65W or 45W cooler.

If you post a link to a site you can buy from, I'll try and find some suitable TIM for you. But in reality, just about any will work fine as long as you aren't doing any overclocking.

No im not going to overclock or something but as i told you
If my cpu stop working or over heating
Another cpu just like that or a 6350 or 8series or a intel with another mother board would be to much expensive for me.
