We run a photo booth company and our other PC is just to big, we want to get a smaller computer that fits behind the monitor, these two computers I found to be what I'm after.

The software we use are:
http://www.darkroomsoftware.com/products/booth
and
http://www.photoboothsolutions.com/socialbooth/

Down the road we'd like to start doing Green Screen so well need something able to do that. All the images taken that night we remove and put onto an external HD so HD space isn't that big of an issue.

We also need it to have WIFI built in. Our computer monitor is also touch screen so needs to work within that.

The two machines are:

$949 - #1

$999 - #2

*** #2: they have an option for: i7-8705G | 8GB | 250GB NVMe | Vega M GL for $50 more. and then double the ram for another $200.

I just don't know exactly what one I need so I need experts like you guys to help me please.

Thanks so much. I just need it to run those programs, my printer, camera, and WIFI, and GreenScreen and that's it. :)

Thanks in advance!

Hm... what are the current specs of the PCs you're using at the moment? Knowing a point of comparison might help provide a more informed opinion.

That said, it will depend on how the software you'll be using responds to the hardware. In terms of the 'pure' CPU themselves both are above the minimum requirements of the software you named.

Graphically the second option is better than the first. If either of the software takes advantage of a graphics processor I would choose the Hades Canyon option. It's also a newer CPU as well, though how much this will factor into a business which (I assume) updates their hardware on a relatively frequent basis. (I swear I remember reading the post earlier that there was a mention of a company which...

In terms of touch screen it should be a matter of having the correct drivers for Windows 10 which allows the monitor to work; so it isn't a hardware issue as such.

RAM wise it would probably be worthwhile having more of it for work purposes (rather than find out later 8GB isn't enough).
