Hi guys, long story short: My friend is upgrading his pc and asked me if I want to buy his old components. I currently run: i7 2600 (non k) on asus p8p67 pro, 16gb ddr3 1600, 512gb sata ssd and a FE GTX 1080.
He's offering me: i7 6700 (non k) on asus z270, with 16gb ddr4 3.0 ghz.
I mainly use my pc for gaming and the cost of upgrading would be around £200 (after I sell the old components).
My question is: is it worth buying his mb, cpu and ram and chucking my gpu and drive in there? Or am I better off keeping my pc as it and investing the £200 in a better monitor, or even a better gpu (1080 ti)?
