[SOLVED] Barely smudged thermal paste, very very very tiny pieces of lint (maybe only 3)

Hi, I am new to computer building and I was wondering if I should reapply it, being stock cooler's (g5400 cooler) thermal paste, or test before hand. Like I said I barely smudged it, and there is about 3 pieces of lint, which are so small I couldn't tell until I inspected very closely. Also recommendations for thermal paste?

Solution
Is this the thermal paste that came pre applied? It would be worth replacing it with a high end paste anyway if you want to. Thermal Grizzly is one of the best on the market.

Ok I will try to see this friday. I am still getting some parts, and I put it back in my CPU box. I shouldn't have opened it I guess, and should of waited until then. Like they say, curiousity kills the cat

Thermal grizzly. I've been building computers for years and decided I would try that stuff. Maybe I'm old school but I don't care for how the thermal grizzly applies.

I find I still prefer Arctic silver 5. Just a dot in the middle of the chip, use a finger to spread it. It tells longer to cure and really reach it's potential, but it's decent stuff and not to expensive imo.

Ok thank you guys for your responses, I will test it Friday. Also a side question, can air bubbles actually damage your CPU besides heating up? I've heard of air bubbles popping on the CPU and damaging it.
