Shouldn't need to!

Just Clean and Apply new Thermal paste for the new CPU.

Nah, just check you’re running a Z170/270 to make sure you’ll get the most out of the K chip.

Just take your time transferring the hardware too the new board. Make sure the board is a Z170 or Z270.

Why can’t your board handle that? PCIE is a standard connector you should have no issue.

There's no reason a GTX [strike]1070 [/strike] 1080 Ti wouldn't work on that motherboard. Or any motherboard with a PCIe x16 slot (which is virtually any consumer mobo).

Not familiar so I’ll wait for someone who is to pass judgement. The 1080Ti is a 250~ card though and the 6700K which won’t be OC’d as you have a H110 board is under 100 so you should be fine as long as te PSU has the right amount of PCIE 6+2 pins the card you buy needs

Can't find much info on that PSU, but the little I saw wasn't good. I wouldn't run a 1080 Ti on it.

Also, how much will a 6700K cost you?

Can you return it still? You can get a new mobo + a better CPU for that price or less, e.g. 9600K + H310 mobo, or Ryzen 2600(x) + B450 mobo.

Given that you won't be overclocking, you can probably get by with a ~$30 cooler (maybe even less?). Or you could go with a Ryzen 2600(X), which come with a cooler.
