So I had been experiences really bad frame rates and 100% CPU usage during streaming especially when it was Fortnite. So I decided to upgrade from my AMD FX 8300 to a Ryzen 5 2600 thinking it would fix this issue. It hasn't, and I have no idea why.
Here are my specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: Radeon R9 380
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 2666MhZ
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350-PLUS AM4
PSU: Rosewill 650W
HDD: WD Black 1TB
OS; Windows 10 Pro
Stream settings:
Resolution: 720p at 60fps
Bitrate: 3500kbps
Encoder: AMD (Have tried Hardware x264 and it's worse)
Fortnite Settings:
Resolution: 1920x1080
Frame rate Limit: 120fps
View Distance: Epic
Everything else: lowest settings
VSync: Off
Not sure what the issue could be. Would really appreciate any help, thanks!
