I recently upgraded to a RTX 2070 (from a RX 580 4gb) big jump lmao.
I'm super happy with the card so far, definitely runs everything I've thrown at it pretty well on ultra settings.
However when I've watched benchmarks on my exact setup it seems like they get muchhhh higher performance on the card.
I'm sure its probably something in my settings so I'm just curious if any of you guys might have an idea what I can change to match pretty close to that.
For example on a couple benchmarks I've watched on games like Far Cry 5 or Shadow of the Tomb Raider on ultra they are getting a min minimum of like 60 frames up to 95 on 1080p which is the resolution I usually run.
And I'm usually getting 55-60fps so a few stutters here and there. I know over all this is nothing to complain about but like I said just taking some ideas on where perhaps I could be missing something in settings.
This is my setup.
Ryzen 7 2700
16gb ram DDR4
EVGA RTX XC Ultra 2070 8gb
EVGA 600 Watt Gold 80 plus Psu
I should note none of my components are overclocked and at stock.
