Hi,
I have an FX6300 (stock speed 3.5Ghz), 16gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram, and GTX 970 (Zotac AMP Extreme). I can run most games on reasonably high settings at 1440p, and my system and games seems to run very well. My friend has given me a GTX 1060 Mini 6gb (Zotac). Is it worth changing up to the GTX 1060, as I am not sure what fps increase I would see in games.
Thanks.

Solution
If you have the card for free then this isn't even a discussion. The 1060 is better, yes change it. Now don't pay to do this. You will need an entirely new system, well cpu, ram, motherboard within 2 years if you plan to get 60fps 1080p. I would save towards that and use what you have till it dies
