[SOLVED] RGB COOLING for Core i7-9700k

This will be my first ever build and I would like suggestions for an RGB cooler for my Core i7-97700K. The cooler is the last component I need to add.

My build will have the Mastercase H500P mesh white, Asrock Z390 Extreme4 motherboard, Zotac GTX1070, 1TB HP nvme M.2, 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD and 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000MHz

I am considering the NZXT Kraken X72 or NZXT Kraken X62 or Corsair Hydro Series, H115i PRO RGB, 280mm or Thermaltake CL-W167-PL14SW-A Floe Dual Ring RGB 280mm.
I am not sure if something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan (RR-212E-20PK-R2) would be sufficient.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

As far as AIO’s they all use the same pumps so the only difference will come from fans and rad size.

The 212 EVO will be a bit lacking. If you wanted to go with an air cooler you’d want something like the Noctua NH-D15.

If you want a clean look choose the 280mm AIO that fits your build the best. The 212 EVO and similar air coolers don’t compare with AIO’s of this size. The NH-D15 will keep up with the best AIO’s at the cost of asthetics.

So if you want the best value get the NH-D15. If you want a clean look get the 280mm AIO that goes best with your build. If you have you Corsair peripherals get a Corsair AIO etc.
