[SOLVED] Intel or Ryzen for budget pc

Hey guys need help again

Should i go for the ryzen 3 2200g or intel3 or 5 i dont know what gen i can afford though. Looking for speed and also in a budget price can also buy 2nd hand intel because there are more intel 2nd hands than ryzen around

Price of Ryzen 3 2200g here is around 100$ or 5k ph pesos

Ill pair it with my
Gtx1050ti
Corsair vs550
Also buying 1x8gb ddr4 ram

You would be better giving your budget and letting us suggest full setup instead of just picking a cpu.

You already have 1x8gb DDR4. That’s not good, what speed is it. Usually Ryzen is better for budget systems but it needs to be matched with 2x4gb or 2x8gb RAM so it can run in dual channel. Also the faster the better. Ryzen performance is significantly impacted by RAM choice. Buying another stick of 1x8gb carries a risk of of issues as RAM should be bought in matched kits, not separately.

Intel is less impacted by RAM speed but you really want a dual channel kit.

My budget is around 200$ or 10k ph peso for the motherboard and processor. And around 3.5k or 70$ for the ram. I see, i havent bought the ram yet but was planning to get one hyper x 2666mhz ddr4 8gb and getting another one in a few months.

I wanted to get a dual channel stick but i cant find one in stores and they said that i can just buy another one in a few months and theyd work fine in dual channel mode.

Intel or ryzen doesnt really matter i just want a budget pc thats worth my 270$ or 13k php
