OK, so I used to just have each of my 3 RGB fans that come with the case connected directly to the motherboards fan headers. Even though they were 3pin I could control them and set up a fan curve in bios. However, I have since them connected them to a fan hub to get rid of the mess of fan cables running across my motherboard. This is the fan hub I have the 3pin fans connected to https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B00VNW556I (and yes I have one of them connected to the sensory connector). I then have the 4pin connector coming from the fan hub going into my sys fan 1 4pin connector. Now however when I go into bios it recognizes the fan I have into the sensory part of the fan hub, but I can't change the speed of it for some reason. Why would running them through a fan hub make me lose functionality of the fans if they were able to be controlled before? I really like how it looks now but the fans are loud and I can't have that background noise for my stream. What can I do, preferably without buying anything, to control the fans?
