[SOLVED] USB Hub Really slow

Hi,
I bought a 7-ports USB 2.0 Hub Hi-speed. My problema is that when plugged in my computer on a 2.0, 3.0 or the 3.1 ports from my motherboard I just get 1mb/s data transfer with my pendrive 2.0 while when I connect the pendrive directly to my computer I get 7mb/s.
What could be te problem?
(The "1mb/s" and the "7mb/s" are exsamples with a 4gb file)

Being USB 2.0 is limiting in itself....

The key is for you to identify the controllers in question and determine what connectivity options are available.

You may need other cables or adapters to work out the necessary connections to obtain (if possible) the needed performance.

The USB Hub cable is 2.0 and the HUB has 2.0 ports. I'm using a power supply that is not from the HUB, I got a USB cable that function on the HUB and I connected in a Cellphone Charger (5v/2A)

Are you certain that the power supply/source being used is actually providing power to the hub?

I.e., " I'm using a power supply that is not from the HUB, I got a USB cable that function on the HUB and I connected in a Cellphone Charger (5v/2A)"

May physically connect but not really working.

What make and model is the 7 port hub? Make and model cell phone charger?

The HUB make is literally "7 Ports" and is a HUB of 7 2.0 ports. The charger is from Xiaomi that comes with my cell phone. The charger gives energy to the HUB (I needed to use it when I connected a externeal Hard Drive)

Yes, the charger may be "giving" energy to the hub. However if the hub and charger are not designed to work together then the energy provided does not necessarily mean that all will work.

For example: the charger's plug for the cell phone may be the opposite polarity for what the hub is expecting.

But, just to be sure, if the hub is provided power via the Xiaomi cell phone charger the hub does work and will power an attached USB external hard drive - is that correct?

It appears that you may be using some generic hub that being "7 ports". Hub itself may be defective on some ports or otherwise limit the total load (number of devices) that it will support. Limit being based on available power - not the number of ports.

Yeah, I was thinking that is not a good HUB and maybe has a bandwidth limiter but I'm not sure if they could have something like that.
However, my principal intention wasn't use it for data transfering, I was thinking to use it with PS4 and XBOX ONE (maybe 360) controls. You think that this issue whit the bandwidth will affect this peripherals ?
