so i am doing a budget build at the moment as money is an issue but need help on what psu i should buy (noob here) i have a hp motherboard (dont know model) and was wondering if there are diffrent types pf psu's like connections and that jazz any thing will help thx
EDIT: old psu is a 240W active PFC this is all from a sff case swaped

There are many different connections as well as proprietary connections. In other words we need your COMPLETE parts list(including model numbers). in order to answer your question. We don't know what's living in your PC so we don't know how much food it needs.

What will this PC be used for?

pf psu's? Idk.

If it's an HP motherboard then there are probably proprietary connections on the board and without the board's model number we can't be sure mainstream PSU's will include the necessary connectors. Companies like Dell and HP design and install their own proprietary hardware meaning any replacement parts come from them. Some of their boards aren't so unique.

Budget build but money isn't an issue? How much do you want to spend(within $100 or pounds or euros or or)

Where will you be shopping? Amazon.de? UK? US?
