I know it is pointless to blow so much money on a built system when you can build it but I am checking this for reference and experiment in case I wanna upgrade down the road. I know it's a lot of money but it would be worth it. However, I have one question to ask. This bugs the crap outta me. Does this system really need a 1200 watt PSU? I did research on the PSU and it shows I only need at least 750 wattages? I either calculated wrong or do I really need 1200 watts? Seems pointless.

Do not change anything once you visit the website. You'll see what parts I picked.

Solution
no, solid 850w or even 750w, handles the 9900k and 2080ti fine.
unless you are doing crazy overclocks (not for daily use anyways)

1200w are more for system with HEDT cpu with multiple graphic cards. or for extreme overclocking.
for any gaming setup with 1 cpu 1 gpu, 850w is fine.
