I just built a new pc and im new to building pcs, my build is a budget-ish build. But it stutters so much while playing games is crazy. Ive updated BIOS, All drivers, Reinstalled Windows three times but nothing. I play Fortnite and CSGO the most but when i drop off the bus my fps drops from like 144fps to like 50fps-80fps and when playing it randomly drops a lot of fps too, every few seconds. My old laptop used to feel the same when playing Fortnite and it feels like i did no change. I can also set fps high up in fortnite all low settings and fps easily gets to 200+fps but it still stutters.

Some specs:
3000mhz DDR4 Ram 1×8GB
RX 580
Ryzen 3 2200g
Asus Rog Strix B450 Motherboard
ASUS 144hz Monitor
EVGA 800 G3
Stock AMD CPU Fan

I dont know if something is being bottlenecked, CPU or Ram im guessing because GPU definitely cant be. Please help, i dont know what to do anymore, im very frustrated and disappointed with my first build.

Solution
Couple of things.

1) you could probably oc your processor to 3.8-3.9 on the stock cooler.

2) your ram is only running at 2666 mhz. Try enabling docp/xmp for 3000 mhz, then manually set speed to 2933

Sorry to bother again and thank you a lot for your help. But how do i enable docp/xmp ?
And about the ram, i tried to oc to 3000mhz but it would crash, i guess it gets unstable i dont know why because thats what i bought, a 3000mhz and is not even giving me that so i set it to 2666mhz just to go safe, but if theres any other way i can oc it without crashing please let me know.

Alright so i did what you did. Highest i got was 2733mhz without getting any errors or fails, above that it would appear a failure screen saying setting changed to default.
I try to oc the cpu but nothing changes, is there anything i have to enable or change to be able to oc the cpu?

Yes i did exactly that but a screen would appear resetting back to the lowest ram. And when i type 38.00 for oc where it says 37.00 for cpu nothing happens

I got it now, finally haha. All i did was set the bios all to default and was able to change core ratio to 39.00. Thank you so much @Supahos. Ill probably end up buying 2x8 3000mhz ram to test the waters and see if there any progress with dual channel.
