i have this for sound chipset on my motherboard, "Realtek® ALC650 6CH w/built in HP amplifier". I think i need the correct driver for it. I tried ac97, didnt work.no sound out of the green jack, and/or when i changed (blue jack) line in to rear output, nothing either. any help to solve this problem would be wonderful (plus my girlfriend and her daughter would be off my butt to fix it... ;) ). ty.

yes. as far as i can tell, via device manager, all drivers are correct for the sys. & the o/s. (no "exclamation marks", and the nvidia main chipset is installed, up-to-date, & operating correctly with no conflicts viewable).
