I have an Intel core i3 cpu 540 @ 3.07 GHz and trying to install the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility from the downloadcenter.intel.com website. I get results according to the Chipset Series ("Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets" or "Primarily for Intel® 800 Series Chipsets", for example). How do I know which series my chipset is? Thanks!

Download the Intel Chipset Identification Utility here. Run it to identify your motherboard's chipset, then get the the chipset utility for your motherboard from Intel''s site, download and install.
