im in the middle of my fist PC build and when i test boot the external build, i get the same error message, D7 - "no console input devices are found". is this ok or is this bad. i only have the motherboard (ASRock z77 Extreme4), CPU (i5- 3570k), and RAM G.SKILL Ripjaws 8gb) installed powered by the PSU (FATAL1TY 750W)

im terrified, please help

So what is happening? Are you saying you are breadboarding right now?

Are you getting into the bios?

A2 error, I think, means you don't have a HDD hooked up, which you wouldn't if you are breadboarding.

well i dint have an HDD hooked up at the point, im currently installing the HDD and the optical drive at the moment. but quick question as i continue the instal, do these messages about not having keyboard and HDD mean that the other components are ok, like the CPU? i need some peace of mind that the components ive already installed are functional

you're right about being nervous... i hooked up an old monitor via VGA and i got a ASRock splash screen and then a black screen that followed that gave me info on all my components, my CPU, RAM, MoBo so i must have successfully installed them all if it recognized it. im going to fully instal everything and ignore the dr debug codes for now and then boot and see what happens.

Yes, it has posted just fine, if you plug a driverless keyboard in (A wired one) it should work fine and go away
