Comments: I am currently working on my new build for University & Work outside University. For now, I am currently looking at the market to arrange a stable build for heavy-duty rendering, visual design and for playing games. Also, to resolve Firepro & HD Radeon, I will buy one HDMI switch, three HDMI cables and connect them to a single monitor. So, when I have time, I will switch to ATi Radeon HD and use it for playing games, browsing the NET and programming. But, when it comes to rendering and modelling stuff, I will revert back (HDMI switch) to Firepro GPU.

ATi Radeon = Legacy (INF driver install)
ATi Firepro = Full Catalyst Install

For those who think that I am crazy, then let me tell you this: my bedroom is SMALL! I cannot dump a workstation & gamming system sitting in ‘Student Accommodation’… I wish I could… Sigh…

Here is my current specification. But, please don’t hesitate to modify it and recommend something else. However, please don’t blow my budget limit...

Thank you!

wow! that' a huge budget.i would suggest these changes in your selection-
this RAM is reliable and top class-
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/16gb-(4x4gb)-corsair-vengeance-jet-black-pc3-12800-(1600)-non-ecc-cas-9-9-9-27-xmp-15v-x79-z68-and-p
asus is a reputed brand.rampage mobos are insanely expensive and have useless features(4-way sli and all)go with this,it's one of the best-
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-rampage-iv-formula-battlefield-3-intel-x79-s-2011-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-30-(x16)-a
Armour suit is a dream case but i see no solid reason for spending so much on it instead of DF-85.go with antec.it's a top notch too.
unfortunately you can not mix two different cards(i know 5850 and 5870 is possible and so on...)but a gaming carrd with a workstation is not possible.i would suggest going with 7970 as it is latest card and supports many features that can help you in photoshop and all.if you want to game than HD 7970 otherwise a good workstation card.here's some advice-
HD7970-

Closed cooling is waste IMO.go with a high end air cooler.one is here-
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/thermalright-silver-arrow-heat-pipe-cpu-cooler-s775-1155-1156-1366-all-amd-includes-2x140mm-silent-t
that's a good psu but it's not modular(if i remember properly).this one is a good alternative-
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/850w-xfx-xxx-p1-850b-ukb9-psu-88-eff-80-plus-silver-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-fan-atx-v22
onboard sound is enough unless you have $400 speakers!

Woah to you aswell! o_O

1.] I couldn't find that memory and motherboard! Thanks a bunch for that!!
I will write that down for future reference...

2.] I know that you can't mix Ati Radeon & Firepro. But, I know how to solve this issue by installing Firepro Catalyst and Ati Radeon afterwards through "My Computer >> Manage >> Device Manager".

3.] I heard that many user has problems with Firepro 7900 series. It sometime crash 3DS Max & Inventor... *Shrug*

P.s. Do you or anybody else recommend MSI HD 6870 Twin Frozr II? Does that have good cooling / ventilation at high - load?

Hi everyone,

I am thinking about this build. However, I am NOT sure about the memory... is it compatible with the motherboard.

If everybody vote for this build, then I will stick with this build. That means, there will be no more changes!

that mobo is very expensive and is full of unnecessary features,i don't prefer e-atx size.this one is a better choice-

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/noctua-nh-d14-2011-dual-radiator-cooler-with-pwm-fans-lga2011-only
