Parts Preferences: A nice looking case, fans if not included

Overclocking: Maybe

Additional Comments: A case which looks nice maybe with lights I also want fans.

Ok, it's a big ask but I'll try to help.

For £400 we'll probably have to go with your lower resolution - but let's see.

What games will you be playing? (Skyrim, BF3) What detail level are you happy with - med, high, ultra?

Case: We all have our own ideas on what is nice looking. Any you have seen that you like?

I will stick to 1440 x 900
Erm I will play COD MW3 BF3 Medium-high is fine for me anything that fits into my budget is fine

A case maybe the HAF 912 with blue lights around the window, or something better.

At the moment the i3 is the best budget gaming cpu - AMD can't really compete

Plus, later on you have the option to upgrade to overclockable i5 2500k - the current gold standard for cpu.

4gb ram will do, but it's so cheap at the moment get 8gb while you can. Then you'll know you don't have to buy more later.

Try this instead, it's 1333mhz not 1600 but you won't really notice the difference: £29.99
