So, I'm going to buy a AMD build as opposed to the i3 2100 build which was from a less trusted website, known as DinoPC, I am now ordering from Ginger6 which seem to have a lot of good reviews, and here is the build I've got, in a few years, I can always upgrade to a Phenom II 980 or whatever, here is the build :

CPU - AMD Athlon II X3 450 (3x 3.2GHz) 4000MT, 1.5mb
CPU Cooler - Standard AMD CPU Cooler
Case - Cooler Master Elite 342
Power Supply - 430w Corsair
Motherboard - Asrock 880GMH/USB3
Memory - 4gb Kingston DDR3 1333mhz
Hard Drive 1 - 250gb SATA2 Hard Drive
Optical Drive 1 - Dual Layer DVDRW Drive
Graphics - (Buying HD 6850 from another website, £111)
Operating System - Windows Vista Home Premium (64 bit)
Warranty - 1 Year Collect and Return Warranty (Mainland UK ONLY)

Total price : £465

Or I could get it with Win7, another option is the Phenom II 555 or 550 and take my chances unlocking to a Quad core, though a Triple core would suffice, I was planning on trying to unlock the Athlon 450 to a quad core anyway, but I'm not sure I was the risk of only having 2 cores, as when I could have 3 if both of the unlocks failed.

Stick with the 450,
as you say even if you dont unlock you still have a nice triple at 3.2 before overclock.
lose vista, take win7 64bit,
not sure on the 68xx cards but I'd try to push that to the 6950 if it was my build.
shop around on
Scan.co.uk
Overclockers.co.uk
Aria.co.uk
Pixmania.co.uk
as well, see if you cant skim a few quid here or there.

Lol, I was going to order my HD 6850 from Pixmania as is, I've checked around Scan and Meshcomputers and they seem to have good deals, especially Scan *Today Only!*.

Aria looked nice, but Ginger6 adds more customization choices, and OCuK is EXTREMELY good if you are looking to custom build, but is bad for pre-builts, which is what I am getting form Ginger 6, the HD 6950 is out of my budget for now.

I may upgrade to it later on, how far do you think I could overclock the Athlon with a stock cooler and stock Voltage?
