I need to get a new desk due to monitor and personal reasons. I've looked a few places around town but nothing that jumps at me. Is there a online site that specializes in these sales?

My Monitor will be a 24" widescreen Asus.
22.36" x 16.61" x 9.06" (or larger, if I change my mind.)
12.13 lbs.

My Case will be a Thermaltake Xaser VI.
23.8 x 9.8 x 26.0 in
39.1 lbs.

I've never had a full tower case before so I really do not know what people do for layouts. This would go into a bedroom so if a tower that large does not traditionally sit on the desk like a mini-tower then what would be the course of action? Soft carpeting do not work for airflow.

I have a 22" monitor and a full tower on my desktop, but then I have this monstrous desk that I got surplus from an office that was shutting down. I tried shopping for something new, but for a comparable size you have to look at professional office furniture, not something that was made to be a home PC desk. It's going to cost a decent amount of money, try a Costco home store if you've got one where you are, or browse Amazon for ideas.

I never put a system on carpet, but use a plank or a couple of ceramic floor tiles alongside the desk.
