ATI HD4890 1Gb send me 15-30 FPS, it´s normal?

Hi i got a problem playing crysis and crysis warhead, i´ve been playing with all settings very high, 1650x1050, AA8x, and with fraps send me between 15-30 fps it´s normal?.

my components are:

Mobo: ECS A780GM-A
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9750 2.4GHz
Memory: 4gb DDR2 800MHz kingston
Graphic card: Sapphire HD4890 1Gb
Heatskin: Coolermaster V8
PSU: Coolermaster real power 750W
HDD: Seagate 500Gb Sata II
DVD-\+RW

I can play the resident evil 5, call of duty modern warefare 2 GTA IV and send me between 30-50 fps?

the crysis needs a better graphic card, or a better CPU or something else?

I don´t make any OC to my computer.

and other thing, when i record a game sesion with fraps the fps are between 5-15 in crysis and in the other games it´s between 15-30 fps.

the quality of the game don´t decrease very much with AA 2x or 4x?

And the problem when i record my gameplays with fraps it,s normal too? because this problem it´s with all the games even with the need for speed most wanted when i record the game it becomes very slow

i don´t understand what you´re tying to say i am not a computer specialist (geek) in this area i just make a question if you don´t gonna reply then don´t do anything, i´m still with my question:

1.- the quality with AA2X or AA4X on crysis don´t decrease much?

2.- why when i record with fraps the games are very slow?

1. It depends on your eyes. For example I can see the difference between AA2x, AA4x, and AA8x, but my friend can't at all. He thinks that it looks exactly the same. Also I feel that AA causes too large a performance impact and implementing it on a small monitor is not useful.

2. FRAPS take resources to run so part of you computer power is taken away from the game to FRAPS causing games to run slower.

That is true. I am not too familiar with FRAPS, but I believe you can lower the quality of the recordings correct?

In my opinion, 8x vs 4x is unnoticeable (visually) in 95+% of situations. 4x is a visible improvement over 2x, but not huge. It's definitely the first thing I'd drop to gain performance though - it's among the biggest slowdowns for the least gain.

ok thanks i think this is the problem my frapped videos are about 4Gb for only 5 min, but i don´t see any option for lower his quality, but now i know why it happen, thank to all who resolve my doubts, i gonna play with AA4X the crysis and i gonna try to find how to use the frapps thanks to all have a nice day.
