Laptop for £600

A friend of mine has the following question about laptop recommendation, I'm personally more versed in desktops, so I figured I'd pose it to you guys:

So, I have this laptop picked out (Yes, laptop. I enjoy a certain degree of portability) which costs pretty much £600, which is the Samsung Q530 (Found here). I wanted to ask the community if they had any idea how suitable it would be for such activities as the Unreal Development Kit, and some moderately-intensive games.

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions for laptops that fall within the £600 region (Maybe a maximum of £10-£15 over) and fit the requirements, they would be highly appreciated.

Actually, stuff the whole "other laptops" thing. I've sprung for the Q530 anyway, just waiting for it to arrive.

Does anyone know what the gaming performance of it would roughly be? Notebookcheck says it can run Crysis at Medium, which is good, but real-world customer reviews would be better.

I'm the afore-mentioned friend, by the way.
