Our Gaming Graphics Charts for 2009 are based on new benchmarks, such as 3DMark Vantage, F.E.A.R. 2, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, The Last Remnant, Tom Clancy's Endwar and H.A.W.X. Resolutions now include 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 (the latter with and without high quality AA/AF). Nowadays, 1680x1050 can be considered mainstream, while the higher resolution serves true gaming enthusiasts. In addition to the benchmark runs, we provide performance indexes based on cumulative frame rates. We will add results garnered from reference boards, as well as retail graphics cards, on a regular basis to allow for easy and comprehensive comparison. Be ready to find overclocked cards and models running at stock speeds!
