Our new SSD charts currently list 40 different solid state drives, featuring controllery by Indilinx, Intel, J-Micron, Marvell, Sandforce and Samsung. You can compare by performance or by power consumption. All results were gathered after so-called pre-conditioning runs, meaning that the drives had to tackle intensive and varying workloads prior to our benchmark runs. This ensures that the results reflect realistic everyday performance instead of theoretical peak performance numbers.
