测试平台The Test Platforms
我们在两个800 MHz平台上进行了所有的测试。一个用的是Intel的OR840工作站主板，我们在它上面安装了384 MByte PC800 RDRAM。处理器用的是Coppermine Pentium III 800EB。Intel的i840芯片组支持两个Rambus通道，它可以使最大带宽提升一倍达到2 x 1.6 GByte/s.
作为选择我们在采用384 MByte PC133 SDRAM比较便宜的Athlon 800上进行了测试。我们用采用VIA KX133芯片组的Asus K7V作为主板。它的最大SDRAM存储带宽为1.1 GByte/s。
