How Can I Remotely Administer PCs Using Windows 8?

Remote administration is the process of gaining access to a target computer remotely in order to perform administrative tasks on that computer from another company that resides on the same network or is situated in another location. To make this process work, Remote Desktop feature must be enabled and configured on the target computer. This enables the target computer to accept remote connections from the source computer. Before initiating remote administration process, administrators must ensure that both source and target computers are able to communicate with each other either via wireless medium, wired medium, or via Internet.

Once Remote Desktop feature is enabled on target computer, administrators can then access the computer remotely by initiating the Remote Desktop Client Connection built-in program in Windows 8. To initiate the Remote Desktop Client Connection program, MSTSC command is typed in the Run command box.
Remote Desktop feature can be quite handy for the administrators who prefer managing and resolving the issues of remote PCs right from their own desk. This can remarkably reduce administrative overhead, and can save a decent amount of time that can be utilized in other productive tasks for the betterment of the organization.
