Due to some graphic related problems a discrepancy in the size of windows and the respective monitor size is observed. At times, it may appear that the window size gets smaller than the screen size or larger than the screen size.
This issue can be fixed by adjusting screen resolution from Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Screen Resolution. But since Windows has predefined values of Screen Resolutions, it may not always solve the purpose. In such case it may also be solved through Graphic Control Panel.
The control panel of the graphic chipset, known as Graphic Control Panel, which is used in the system offers better solution to graphic related problems of the system. It has several features, like Add/Remove displays, Built-in Displays etc.

Steps to adjust Screen Resolution using Graphic Control Panel :-

- ■Log on to Windows with any account.
■Go to Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display > Screen Resolution.
■Go to Advanced Settings.
■In the opened dialog box, select Graphic card chipset tab. In this demonstration AMD vision engine control center is used.
■Click the AMD VISION engine control center button.
■Your AMD VISION engine control center control panel will open. Select Desktop and Displays.
■Select Desktop Management.
■Select Desktop Properties.
■On the opened box, adjust the screen resolution, color quality, refresh rate etc. as needed. The screen resolution list in this control center has lot many options as compared to Windows Control Panel. You can select the desired screen resolution size and click Apply.
■Restart the computer to allow the changes to take effect.
