In such situations, you cannot add the symbols directly within the MS Excel itself. In order to include a new currency symbol to the Windows, you must go to the regional settings that the Control Panel of the Windows operating system has. From the regional settings, you can add a new currency symbol of your choice.
Adding a new currency symbol in Windows is the user specific task. This means that no elevated privileges (administrative rights) are required in order to add a new currency symbol in your user account.
