How to Change the Default Skin/Theme on Steam Client
Introduction
In this tutorial we will be changing the default skin/theme of the steam client for desktop. These skins do not only change the colors but also changes the positioning so be sure to pick on that you like.
Step 1
Look at through the list of Steam Skins found here and download any that you like.
Step 2
Locate the downloaded file and copy and paste it into your "skins" folder in the steam directory.
Step 3
Make sure that you extract the skin. Once you've done that we can now move on and enable it in the steam client.
Step 4
Open your steam client and go to Steam --> Settings.
After you see this menu, go to "interface tab" and select the skin. This will require steam to restart.
Recap
Your Steam Skin should be applied after the restart!
