How to Change Download Region and Game Download Locations in Steam
Introduction
This tutorial will teach a user how to change the download location in Steam client. Your download location might change due to a proxy/vpn/reinstall or you just want to use another server to avoid congested download locations.
Step 1
On the Steam client, go to Steam ---> Settings.
Step 2
Go to the "Downloads" tab and here you will see the settings. You can install games on your external hard drive and run Steam games off of it. You can also change your download region here.
Recap
You can now install Steam onto your C:\ Drive and put all your games onto the D:\ Drive with no worries what so ever. You can also change the download region if your speeds are too slow
