After installing MS Outlook 2013 on your computer, by default the program is configured to automatically send or receive the pending emails as soon as the computer detects an active Internet connection. With the help of this default configuration, the requirement of manual intervention to send or receive the pending emails is completely eliminated, and the MS Outlook 2013 application takes care of the tasks automatically.

If your instance of MS Outlook 2013 does not behave as per its default nature, and you are required to manually initiate the email sending or receiving process, it means that something is wrong with the configuration. The entire automatic send/receive initialization feature in MS Outlook 2013 is controlled with a checkbox. When the checkbox is checked, the MS Outlook 2013 automatically sends or receives the emails as soon as the computer is connected to the Internet. On the other hand, when the checkbox is unchecked, the manual intervention is required to get the job done.

Since you are required to manually initialize the send or receive process of emails that you receive or compose using the MS Outlook 2013, you must revert the settings back to default in order to make the application work normally.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to revert the settings of your instance of MS Outlook 2013 back to default.
