Windows 8 has a feature named HomeGroup that allows multiple computers in a home environment to communicate with each other, and share documents, images, videos, etc. By enabling and configuring HomeGroup in Windows 8, users can limit access to the files and can specify the documents or images that can be accessible from the remote computers.

■From the displayed options, click Settings.
■From the bottom of the Settings pane, click Change PC settings.
■On the opened PC settings window, click to select HomeGroup category from the left
section.
■From the right section, click the buttons one-by-one opposite to the desired contents under Libraries and devices in order to enable sharing, and to make them available for other computers added to the HomeGroup.
■Wait till the Windows make changes to the HomeGroup, and close PC settings window when done.
