How much Ram does my computer use?

Why is it important to know how much Ram your computer has, and how much it actually uses?
This is a good question, and I think that there are a lot of people who wonder this, and who need answers. Well, you've come to the right place!

To start, i will explain how to check the amount of Ram you currently have in your system (for windows based OS) press Ctrl Shift Esc: it should open a window called Windows task manager. If that doesn't, press Ctrl Alt Delete: from there you should click on Windows task manager. from windows task manager, go to the performance tab. there you will see your total Physical memory in MB's: 1,000 MB=1 GB. round your number up to the nearest 1,000. That is the amount of Ram your computer has in it.

Now, how much Ram does your computer use? Well, to find this out, open up the normal programs you use every day, such as a video, or a game, etc. When you've opened up the programs you use on an average day, go back to the task manager window. Under the performance window, you will see your CPU and Memory usage. Ignore the CPU usage and focus on the Memory usage. It should tell you the number of GB your computer is currently using. As long as you aren't using all of it, you should be good to go! And if you are using all of it, it may be time for a Ram upgrade. And that's a wrap! Thanks for reading this tutorial.
