The Proxy Server Blocks Facebook. How Can I Bypass this Security?

Webpages and other Internet services are usually locked with the help of proxy firewalls in a network. The network restricts the IP for the websites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. and blocks it from showing up.

There are several methods to bypass this security. There are IP by-passing websites, as wells as applications that provide such services for free.

These network by-passing applications and websites mask the IP by which you access the website, so the firewall is unable to recognize them, and opens the blocked sites.

As a side effect these methods also cause security issues. While accessing Facebook with the help of bypassing applications or websites, there is a pretty good chance that you will end up locking up your account temporarily or permanently.

After understanding the consequences, for testing purposes, if you still want to bypass the security of your network and access Facebook, you must follow the instructions given below: (Ultrasurf is used in this demonstration which is a proxy-based Internet security and privacy tool):

■On your favorite web browser, open ultrasurf.us.
■From the Ultrasurf’s homepage, download the latest version of Ultrasurf for PC.
■From the downloaded zip file, extract all files to a desired target folder.
■Open the target folder and double-click the u.exe file.
■On the interface that opens up, wait for the status to get Successfully Connected and the green lights to turn on.

■Once connected, on the Internet Explorer (or any other browser) that pops up, open Facebook.com.

You will be able to access Facebook or any other locked website by now.

Since Ultrasurf does not require any installation, this small program can also be copied on to your USB storage device and can be used wherever and whenever needed.

To close Ultrasurf, right-click the yellow lock symbol which is usually docked near the taskbar. From the context menu that opens up, click Exit.
