‘You Have Files Waiting to Be Burned’ Message in Windows 8

While using your Windows 8 computer, whenever you see a message in the notification area saying that you have some files that are waiting to be burned, it means that either you or somebody else has some pending tasks with the CD/DVD writer. In other words, if you have tried to burn some data on a CD/DVD, and in order to do so if you have copied the desired contents to the CD/DVD drive but forgot to burn the data, Windows 8 would keep reminding you with the help of the notification that the files are yet to be burned.

Although you can close the message from the notification area every time it pops up, it is always a good idea to either burn the data to a blank CD/DVD disc, or remove the copied contents from the CD/DVD drive once and for all. In either case, i.e. either you remove the files from the CD/DVD drive or you burn the data on to a blank CD/DVD disc, the notifications will quit popping up.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to remove the pending tasks, and also how you can burn the data on a blank CD/DVD disc in order to complete the tasks. To write the data on a blank CD/DVD disc, you must follow the steps given below:
