Assuming that you have already downloaded and installed CCleaner on your Windows 8/Windows 8.1 computer, you must follow the steps given below to uninstall any stubborn program using the uninstaller feature of the application:
- Log on to the Windows 8/Windows 8.1 computer using the administrator account.
- From the Start screen, click the Desktop tile.
- On the desktop window, locate and initialize the CCleaner program that you have already installed on the computer.
- On the opened Piriform CCleaner interface, from the left pane, click the Tools category.
- From the contextual options that are displayed in the middle of the screen, click Uninstall.
- From the displayed list of installed programs in the third pane, click to select the one that you want to remove from the computer.
- Once the program is selected, from the rightmost pane, click the Run Uninstaller button.

- Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the selected unwanted program from Windows 8/8.1 computer.
- After the removal process succeeds, restart the computer in order to allow the changes to take effect.
